Valentine's Food Trip

Restaurant: Oki Oki Japanese Restaurant
Location: Trinoma
Specialty: Japanese Food

In the words of patsilog - PAKSHET ang Feb 14! why is that? wtf naman kasi Terri and I couldn't find a place to eat on our regular weekend food trip. We planned to eat at Ruby Tuesday's and review the resto but it turned out that all restos in Trinoma have long waiting lists. Even the super expensive but not worth it Italianis had a waiting list.

So where di we end up? it seems Filipino and above average priced Japanese food don't mix, as we found a resto that had only 1 couple on their waiting list which already got seated as we stopped by.

So for the Valentine's Food trip Terri and I are going to review the Japanese resto called Oki Oki at Trinoma.

This is the second time we were going to eat at Oki Oki, first time we had Ramen, sushi and a rice bowl. Terri and I ordered alot this second time listed are the following hehehe:

5pcs Tempura, an order of Seafood Teppanyaki, 5pcs Steamed Dumpling, an order of Torikatsu, 2 bowls of Samurai Rice and 2 bottomless drinks.

This is the money shot right here:

Taob at Busog!!!!!

Breakdown:
Price: Above Average - Our total cost for the meal is 1,200 php without service charge - Cheap IMO
Taste: Really Really good Japanese food! their menu also covers almost all Japanese dishes.
Accessibility: trinoma branch is the only one I know
Store Ambience: looks like a typical Japanese resto although I can't say really. Very Clean.

Old Friends Food Trip

Terri and I met up with some old office friends ro catch up with each other. We ended up eating at a familiar place for me and Terri... Carlo's Pizza

My apologies as I dont have a facade shot of the place :(.

Restaurant: Carlo's Pizza
Location: Metrowalk
Specialty: Pizza and Pasta

Terri and I have eaten here a couple of times already and this is by far the best place to get our favorite fill of Chicken fingers, second olny to a place i've worked before whose resto served the best chicken fingers I've tasted.

Another reason why we go here is the Pesto Pizza, as far as I know this is the only place that has that kiind of pizza flavor.

On to the order... Since it's a barkada trip we ordered the standard Chicken Fingers, Pesto Pizza deal with Pasta Alfredo and Fish n Chips, also the usual bottomless Iced tea for all.

Breakdown:
Price: Average
Taste: Very Good (Chicken Fingers recommended for starters)
Accessibility: Metrowalk branch only afaik
Store Ambience: Very cozy nice couches
